Eat. Sleep. Write about Netball.

When I'm not working, I'm one of the quarter of a million people playing netball in England. And when I'm not playing it, I like to talk about it, write about it, message my team mates about it. Having already written an article for BBC Sport in 2018 about when we could see netball in the Olympics, I looked further into the increase in men playing the sport. Tap the links and have a read. Around the Wicket

Having presented three episodes of the 2018 season of 'Around the Wicket' on BBC Essex, it's a huge honour to have been given the show on a permanent basis. I love cricket- I've watched it from a very young age and it's a massive part of family life so to be able to talk about it on the radio for 12 weeks of the year, is a dream. It's also means a lot of show promo which I'm not used to - as...

Behind the scenes at Essex…

Ah. The Summer of 2018. The sun shone, Gareth Southgate got us all falling in love with England at a major tournament again (so near, but yet so far) and I made my presenting debut on BBC Essex. You can read my blog on the site here and...

ICC World Cricket comes to Essex

Essex has long been a hotbed of great cricketing talent. But this week the county has also been home to some lesser known names - from teams such as Suriname, Botswana, Fiji and Saudi Arabia. They are competing in the ICC World Cricket Division 6, which is taking place at local cricket clubs across the county. I went to West Mersea to find out more, where Vanuatu were playing Norway. Listen below...

Summer of sport

I have wanted to be a sports journalist since I was at school so I was delighted to be able to complete a placement at Sky Sports News this summer. I spent some time working with the planning team, shadowing reporters, learning the ropes with production and also, working as part of the social media team. Whilst working with the digital media time, I wrote some stories, a selection of which you...
