To help curb lockdown boredom and help you remember that thing called sport, two documentaries I’ve been a part of in the past 18 months are now available to listen again to on BBC Sounds.
The first is Sir Alastair Cook: A Knight’s Tale, all about the former England captain’s rise from Essex youngster to one of the greatest batsman of all time.
I had a great time making this and the people I met along the way had brilliant stories to tell.
You can listen to it here.
The other documentary stemmed from a special edition of my BBC Essex programme ‘Around the Wicket’ celebrating 40 years since Essex’s first title winning season.
I spoke to former players and fans about their memories of the 1979 season, including Keith Fletcher and Graham Gooch.
It’s available to listen to here.
Both programmes were produced by Paul Joslin.
